Soviet Medal for the Capture of Berlin variation 2 (U-shaped eyelet)
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.18 mm in width, 37.51 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 17.4 gram.
This medal is in excellent condition with its details crisp and most gold plating still present. There are few dings and scratches and the medal comes with its time period brass suspension.
The Medal “For the Capture of Berlin” was awarded to soldiers of the Red Army, Navy, and troops of the NKVD, direct participants of the assault and capture of the city as well as to the organizers and leaders of combat operations in the capture of this city.
