Soviet Order of Glory 3rd class #613817 WW2
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 46.37 in width, 48.44 mm in height and it weighs 21.7 gram (not including its suspension).
This order is in excellent condition with most details present. The higher laying parts like the clock in the tower and the wreath surrounding the tower show light wear. The enamel is all present and without repairs or significant flaking. The order comes with its time period brass suspension and old ribbon.
Probably awarded in the summer of 1945. Great research potential!
The Order of Glory, modelled closely upon the Tsarist Cross of St. George, was awarded to non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the armed forces, as well as junior lieutenants of the air force, for bravery in the face of the enemy. A person initially received the third degree, and would subsequently be promoted to higher degrees for further acts of bravery.
