Medal for the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945
Variation 2b with its U-shaped eyelet struck as part of the medal and the word ‘войне’ on its reverse further apart from the curved text ‘Германией’
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.10 mm in diameter, 36.33 mm in height (including its eyelet) and weighs 16.1 gram.
This medal for the Victory over Germany is in excellent condition with all details crisp and full gold plating.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who were on active service during The Great Patriotic War (Military service of 3 months or civil service of 6 months). Also awarded to some allied forces such as the post 9 September 1944 Bulgarian Armed Forces.
