Group of Soviet Medals mounted on an old brass suspension

Would make an interesting research project

The group consists of the following items:

Medal for Bravery #2598315

Made of solid silver. Measures 42.27 mm in height (including its eyelet) and 37.34 mm in width. It weighs 28.3 gram. The medal is in nice condition with crisp details and a fair amount of red lacquer still present. Its connection ring has been cut. Most likely awarded in the spring of 1945.

Medal for the Victory over Germany

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 36.43 mm in height, 32.04 mm in width and weighs 16.7 gram. In nice condition with most details visible. Medium wear on the higher laying p[arts of its obverse.

Medal for the Liberation of Prague

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 37.52 mm in height, 32.08 mm in width and weighs 17.1 gram. In excellent condition with all details visible.

Jubilee Medal for 30 Years of the Armed Forces of the USSR

Made of gold plated brass. In excellent condition with all details crisp and most gold plating present.
