WW2 variation 1b with a raised rim on its reverse
Comes with its award document dated 1 May 1946. Awarded to Guard Sgt. Ivan Artemievich Dombrovsky (Иван Артемьевич Домбровский)
Made out of gold plated brass. It measures 32.49 mm in diameter; 37.69 mm in height including its eyelet and the medal weighs 17.2 gram (not including its suspension).
This medal for the Capture of Budapest is in excellent, well above average condition with crisp details and much gold plating present. The brass suspension is also in excellent condition and is time period to the medal. The document is decent but worn condition without repairs and is numbered A 260256
