Medal from the Grateful Afghan People
Made of gold plated brass. The badge consists out of two parts; the round medal and the suspension. The main medallion measures 32.10 mm in width and 36.98 mm in height and weighs 15.7 grams without its suspension.
The badge is in excellent condition and comes with its time period suspension and screwplate. The paint on the Soviet and Afghan banners is well preserved.
