Soviet Order of the Red Star #2212185
Soviet Order of the Red Star; Made of silver and enamels. Measures 48.56 mm in width; 46.71 mm in height and weighs 31.1 gram. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.
This original order is in excellent condition with ligt wear on the center medaillion. The red enamel is problem free with almost no dings and scratches. Its screw has not been shortened and the nut is time period to the order.
PMost likely awarded in the the second half ’45 so with nice research potential.
The Soviet Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.
