Translation of the citation for the Order of the Red Star:
In battles against the German occupiers on September 13, 1942, with accurate fire from his gun, he destroyed 2 enemy mortar batteries. On September 25, 1942, the Germans launched three tank attacks against our positions; under intense fire, the fearless gun layer repelled the tank attacks. As a result of the battle, he knocked out 5 fascist tanks. For the courage and military valor displayed, he is worthy of the government award: the Order of the Red Banner [but was finally awarded a Red Star].
Translation of the citation for the Medal for Bravery:
For the fact that on March 15, 1944, in battles against the Nazi invaders for the village of Konstantinovka, Nikolayev region, under heavy enemy artillery, mortar, and rifle-machine gun fire, he moved his gun to a direct-fire position. In doing so, he destroyed 2 enemy machine guns that were hindering the advance of our infantry, after which he shifted fire to an enemy mortar platoon, which he suppressed with the fire of his weapon.
On March 17, 1944, in the same area, while rolling out his gun to a direct-fire position to suppress enemy firing points, Comrade Dymnich , N.V. was wounded.
