Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad: made of gilded brass. Measures 32.04 mm in width,Ā 36.92 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 15.8 gram.Ā
This medal is in worn condition with substantial wear on its reverse. The obverse however still shows much detail. Even though not in the best condition it has lots of character and probably worn intensively during battle and would make a great display on a Soviet WW2 uniform.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
