Mint Error with the wrong reverse struck with a die used for the Medal for the Capture of Budapest
Made of brass. Measures 32.06 mm in width, 36.94 mm in height including its eyelet and it weighs 16.6 grams without its suspension.
In excellent condition with few traces of wear and crisp details on both sides. The medals shows a medium patina and it comes with a brass suspension.
Only a handful of these mint errors were struck. It is considerably rarer than the ‘Kiev’ error and is one of the rarest medals.
