Order of the Red Banner of Labor #9289
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 44.90 mm in height and 37.18 mm in width and weighs 38.8 grams without its screwplate. The serial number is located at the 6 o’clock position of its reverse, and the mintmark at the 12 o’clock position.
In good, about average condition. The white and blue enamels are well preserved with no repairs, while the red enamels show some loss on the small star at the bottom and minor chipping on the top banner. The wreath shows moderate wear, retaining much of its original gold plating. The reverse is in excellent condition with original rivets and a pleasing silver patina. The screwpost remains full length, and the order has not been converted or repaired. It comes with its period, well-fitting silver screwplate.
This order was established as the civilian counterpart of the military Order of the Red Banner and was awarded for exceptional working achievements.
