Medal for the Defense of the Caucasus variation 1
Comes with its scarce, red covered document awarded to Stepan Pavlovich Glukhoman (Степан Павлович Глухоман)
Made of brass. The medal measures 32.10 mm in diameter, 37.15 mm in height and weighs 17.3 gram without its suspension.
This medal is in superb condition. Both sides shows almost no traces of wear and most of the original gold-like luster is still present. Its conenction ring has not been cut and the medal comes with its correct suspension and ime period ribbon. Next to impossible to upgrade!
Its document is in problem free condition with all the data perfectly readable and its folded document securely attached to its cover. The document number reads Д 001717 and it is dated 4 September 1945.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of the Caucasus region during WW2 between July 1942 and 9 October 1943.Â
